Over the past few weeks I have observed hundreds of birds. I am new to hummingbird watching. This is my first year to have feeders. I placed 6 feeders out and I had to replace nector at least 1 quart everyday. Now the temperature in my area has cooled and I do not see the large number of birds.They hit the feeders @ 6:40 am and continuously feed until 7:30 pm.
