Our Conservation Kids Club (ages 6-12) was thrilled to be a part of the celebration and journey of the Monarch butterflies. Our evening program theme was: Monarch butterflies connect us to our northern and southern neighbors through their magical journey. We learned how to tag monarchs, watched the dance of the monarch butterfly presented by our local Hispanic Heritage Dance Group, and we created our symbolic migration butterflies to sent to children in Mexico. I can't tell you how excited we are to see this process through full circle. The evening celebration consisted of 196 people and 24 Runge volunteers and staff. Thanks for this incredible opportunity!
