Saw two Monarchs today, perhaps the last of the season. One was flying southeasterly just north of River Falls, WI. The other came from our garden, flying gingerly to the top of a tree. The way it flew made me think it was a new emergent, either that day or from the day before. Monday (Sept 21) I saw two other Monarchs, both traveling low to the ground into a southerly breeze.
