Had a ruby-throated hummingbird nectaring my spotted jewelweed early yesterday afternoon. Couldn't tell if it was a female or an immature male. I planted this particular wildflower (with its ultra-sweet nectar) just for them, and so am thrilled they're using it to 'fuel up' as they Journey South!
