around 9/1/09 i saw 1-2 hummingbirds at my feeders which i had ignored since the sring.so i filled them up and here they came.i now have 5 feeders that i can hardly keep full on my front porch.there must be 20-30 birds there in the am and pm.one has a broken beak but seems to eat ok just slower.i also have flowers in the yard which they visit.they hang out in a bush and small pecan tree near the feeders when they get startled. i don't know how long they will be here but i want to welcome them back in the spring with more flowers and pleasing habitat
