Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/28/2009

Number: 1

One hummingbird (A. colubris) was perched on blue salvia this morning and occasionally getting nectar from the flowers. The second hummingbird was at the feeder. They appeared to be females or immatures as I saw no ruby throats. This is rather late for us to be seeing hummers.
