On Sept. 25th, my friend and expert birdwatcher Audrey E. Wilson of Cobourg, noted that she still had a r-t hummingbird at her feeder. Elizabeth Kellogg, a local bird bander, noted that hummingbirds have generally left the Cobourg area (north shore of Lake Ontario about 100 km east of Toronto) on average October 1st.
