We observed 50 roosting monarchs and 11 migrating monarchs at our Lake Michigan lake front campus. Wind 20-30 mph out of the northwest,temp 52f. The roosting monarchs were sighted around 8:45am in spruce,white cedar trees. There were also some roosting on milk weed and New England Aster.
