Monarchs were less than yesterday - likely fewer than 150 seen.

The continued presence of this high pressure system has made each day since the start of the count similarly warm, sunny and calm. This system will move northeast tonight as low pressure comes in from the south bringing moisture and potential for an abbreviated count tomorrow from rain. Temperatures today reached the upper 70s F, with winds light from the east until midday, switching to east-southeast.

Lots of Monarch Butterflies

Today the winds again were light from 0-10MPH. Mostly from the South-East or East-South-East. Cloud cover was 10-60%. Visibility was clear to hazy.

A good number of Monarch Butteries were going over too, just like the past few days.

The weather was again just like the past few days, none to light at around 0-10MPH. Today was hazy visibility and around 5-65% cloud cover.

September 3
probably over 100 Monarch Butterflies.

Wind was mostly light and from the North-East at around 5-10MPH. The first few hours was around 0% cloud cover. Then the last few hours it was around 50%. It was a little hazy but also mostly clear early. For the rest of the day it was clear visibility.
