Monarchs were migrating at a low level (50-100' high) and sailing WSW. There was an early to late morning breeze from the ENE. The monarchs were passing by at the rate of about 15 - 20 per minute. The wind picked up from the south. The bigger Sunflower patches (about 1/4 - 1/2 acre) were loaded with Monarchs nectering.
