Signs of Fall

Date: 09/29/2009

Number: 1

Tuesday afternoon, six students from an adapted physical science class observed a blue heron in a pond located on school grounds. It flew to a large rock in the middle of the water and stood on the rock for 2 or 3 minutes and flew back over our heads. The students were facinated with the length of its legs and wing span.
