Today was best of the season......sighted 110 Monarchs during the day this afternoon.
Temp...70. wind....from NE approx 10mph. Humidity...60's.
Monarch flight heights ranged from 6ft to 40ft. Mostly all flying solo......4 groups were flying in pairs.
Saw 4 roadside kills in addition to the 110.
Perfect Day!!! Have a feeling this is the peak. My observation time: I was watching for 5 hours.
