My wife and I and my brother observed 35 Monarchs today in Migration. We were able to tag 25 Monarchs today between 16:00 and 18:00. We also observed two roosts, but this one only had about three Monarch's roosting each. Location of roost is N 38.09.327, W 79.00.422 Also observed were hundreds of tree swallows migrating as well.

We observed 22 Monarchs today traveling south. (Editor's note: also in migration) We observed another roosting site. The roost had maybe 10 butterflies. The monarchs were preparing to settle down as it was starting to rain. time of roost observation was 18:00

Observed about 50+ Monarchs gathering at four different trees in the same field at 17:10. My wife, myself and brother were out in a pasture tagging Monarchs when we discovered the roost!!! We were excited about reporting the roost. We are planning to return to this spot in a few days. We tagged about 20 Monarch's today from 16:30 to 17:30
