Had an immature male Ruby-throated Hummingbird feeding at my spotted jewelweed and white butterfly bush this afternoon. He had a very dark emerald-green back but no 'ruby' on his throat, just a few black flecks...he may be my last one of the season...I will report back if this is, indeed, the case!
