I am the mother of two daughters, ages 6 and 8. We had a small stand of Milkweed in our back yard. Week before last we noted the small stand of Milkweed was covered (15-20) caterpillars. This was on only 3 - 4 plants with only 3-4 branches each.
We brought three of the critters in with some leaves. We now have 2 coccoons. We drove all over Garland, our city, and could not find any. I hope the Monarchs coming this way aren't hungry!
