We were well into July(a very wet one) when I usually spot the first Monarch Butterfly...there were none and throughout August September and October I did not see any Monarch Butterflies...This is highly unusual...I did locate 2 Monarch caterpillars and know others who found 4/5 caterpillars apiece...I tagged 6 Butterflies in September...this was a very disappointing year...
