The cold air North of us must have sent a whole new group of very hungry Hummers our way. There were about 40 birds at the feeders at dusk, many very slim looking and they were also hitting every flower they could find in our yard. Filled the feeders an extra time yesterday as these guys are very hungry. We are on the last stop before the Gulf so we try to fatten them well before they make that journey.
