The last time I saw a hummingbird at on my site was ironically the last time I filed a report- Sept. 3, 2009. I have still left my feeders up, and once there was a noticeable drop off in nectar on one of them in the garden. Had some persistent bees, maybe about six at a time tops at that feeder, but it seems unlikely that they drained several inches of nectar in a day ro two. I suspect I may have entertained some late migrant hummers?
