The past month between August and Sept 11, 09 saw me making sugar water for 3 feeders about 3 times a week, approx. 1 cup. Of course, the wasps are terrible at stealing the food and the poor hummingbirds had to come at night time to have a nice drink.
also early in the AM, the hummers would be sitting on the clothesline next to the feeder.
