Most active day of Hummingbird watching I have ever had. Had four feeding all day in the rain. Lots of times they just sat and rested. Feeder is hanging outside the dinning room window so we get to watch them while we eat. Also it is under the eve of the house so they could sit there out of the rain.
Then this evening at 8:55 I heard something hit the window. I looked and it was a female Hummer. She was on the window sill and when I got up to check on her, she flew away. I have never seen a hummer at night before.
