Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/10/2009

Number: 1

While looking out my window at 9:30 am on this cloudy, drizzly, cool autumn morning..I saw a female hummingbird trying to sip nectar from my the last of my red impatiens. We had not seen a hummer in weeks and had taken the feeder down. But now,of course it is back up..just in case it is needed!

Also: This little female either had something white stuck to her beak....or had a white upper bill.Strange!
