Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/10/2009

Number: 1

We are on 3 acres, and we have numerous feeders sprinkled in the butterfly garden and nearby large trees. The smaller tube feeders have to be replaced twice a day. The larger feeders last about two or three days. They feed from many of the nectar sources in the butterfly garden as well.

There are so many hummers zinging around. I wish there were a way to count them! They are so much fun to watch.

For some reason, the rainy days are the busiest days. Either there are more coming to the feeders, or the ones here come more often on rainy days.
