Of course there are still our year round Anna's hummingbirds now!
But what I have observed is that the Rufous hummingbirds are more
abundant this year,it's almost like word of beak! I have 15 feeders that are up & full year round and when "little bully":0)
Rufous comes on the scene he insists on having his own feeder!!
So... let the battles begin ;)In the evening I can't believe how
many more Rufous hummingbirds there are this year all drinking and
waiting for their turns to lap up the yummy elixir before nightfall
I sure hope that all the beautiful Rufous tell more of their friends about my "little hummingbird sanctuary" in Monterey Pk.
