Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/11/2009

Number: 1

Can't believe there are still stragglers with how cold it's been. We are trending better than 10 degrees below average and had a frost again last night. I've left the nectar feeders out just in case I might be able to help some poor hummingbird along to better climes; but I suspect that the nectar solution remains too cold throughout the day, which is why the birds are turning to the remaining flowers for sustenance.
