Drove to our cabin in Jack county expecting to take down the h'bird feeders for the season. Instead, on a cool misty, rainy day, we saw three h'birds visiting the feeder! We were unable to see the sex or species but hurried to scrub the feeders and make fresh nectar. A nice surprise! Lots of native wildflowers blooming now due to late summer rains.
