Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/04/2009

Number: 1

A friend and I were remarking on the amount of summer color I still had in my backyard as we walked around it in the early afternoon. The hummingbirds have especially enjoyed the red penta I had planted in several places for them and a lipstick plant of vibrant orange-red that has bloomed all summer. As we walked around the yard talking about color we disturbed a hummingbird who has visited everyday.
