Signs of Fall

Date: 10/15/2009

Number: 1

Brrrr! It's been quite chilly here lately. We've had temps down in the mid to upper 20's at night occassionally, and for the next several days the thermometer will struggle to stay in the mid 30's. It started snowing here this morning around 8am or so, and we're expecting 2 to 4 inches overnight and up to 8+ inches over the weekend.
Many of the leaves have already fallen from the trees, and the deer have herded back up once again in time for the autumn rut.
We've spied a 12 point buck guarding his harem, along with a 5 point, a 3 point and 9 doe. We also have 7 fawns in the herd.
