It is noon (10/15) and I was out for about five minutes. The temperature is only 61 degrees so it has just gotten warm enough for the monarchs to start leaving their night roost. In the 5 minutes I was out, I saw 46 monarchs. My observation time: I was watching for 5 minutes.
