We finally got rid of the rain this weekend and had some clear weather with the winds out of the north. I live a mile from this location and counted nearly 100 yesterday (10/18) in about a two hour period. Today I was outside with the kids and counted 42 throughout the day. Unfortunately the winds were gusty out of the southeast making it hard to fly. It looks like they are at their peak right now in our area. My observation time: I was watching for 8 hours.
