This afternoon after school the science club at Hallsville School planted 12 tulip bulbs in the garden near by our portable classrooms. We were worried because there was some snow yesterday. This afternoon it was cloudy and the temperature was about 54 degrees Fahrenheit. The ground wasn't frozen but it was hard to dig. We only had four kids today so that's why our official garden only has 12 plants. We put down some chicken wire to try to keep squirrels away. Now we can all be happy when it snows!
