I observed a female Ruby-Throated Hummingbird necturing on my Coral Porterweed yesterday afternoon (10/20/09). I have seen either this same female or another female for the last three years either migrating North in the Spring or South in the Fall. She loves the Porterwed and sitting on my Direct T.V. cable for a rest! She was, however, being bombarded by a bigger dragonfly, some sparrows, and my resident Mockingbird. I hope she shows up today!
