We recieved this Monarch caterpillar from Monarch Watch in the mail. We watched it grow. It went from caterpillar to chrysalis. Now it looks like an adult Monarch. It was flapping it's wings slowly.

The temperature is 63 degrees here today. It is a female. The chrysalis is open and it has gold on it. We hope it flies fast! We hope our butterfly makes it to Mexico!
