Our butterflies were decorated by children visiting Corron Farm's annual Prairie Fest at the end of September. Corron Farm is an 1834 farm preserved for open space and where the prairie and savanna are being restored.
Below is our message first in English and then in Spanish:

Today my family visited Corron Farm. It is an old farm in St. Charles, Illinois, USA where the large prairie is being preserved. It has been replanted with native plants. They have added plants for monarch butterflies too.
Thank you for taking care of the monarchs this winter,from your northern neighbors.

Hoy mi familia visita Granja de Corron. Es una granja vieja en el St. Charles, Illinois, USA donde la pradera grande es preservada. Es replantado con plantas nativas. Ellos han incluido plantas para mariposas de Monarca también.
Gracias por cuidar a las mariposas monarcas este invierno, de parte de sus vecinos del norte.
