Our 4th grade class planted tulips in Ft. Leavenworth, KS. We planted these in the new wooden boxes made especially for our tulip project. It was a chilly, damp day that made the soil soft. We observed a few worms in the soil, and a few students chose to plant their tulips in a different location. We are excited to see how our experimental tulips will grow.
