My last female hummer finally left on Sat. Oct. 17, 2009. The weather had been very cool (in the mid-20's some nights) with rain (and some snow!)off and on. As soon as it cleared up, she left. She had been at my feeder almost constantly until then. I have never had a hummer stay this late in the year before.
