Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/26/2009

Number: 1

There is at least one, probably juvinell male Anna at our feeder this morning - three times. We had the video on him. I saw two at the same time last week. I saw him early this morning, as each morning. He was also here late yesterday afternoon.

Last year we had a male adult Anna verificed by Denny at the Yakima Audubon Society as the lastest known adult male Anna in the area. (11/19/09) He stayed a few more days. http://www.granstrand.net/gallery/woodpeckers/P1000127a_filtered
We also had, last year, two juvinile male Annas that stayed until they were killed by the extreme cold the night between 12/21/08 & 12/22/08.
