Red Emperor tulip bulbs went into the test garden today! It is planted away from any building in an area representing the climate here. This October may be the rainiest in decades. It's my 10th year to plant a climate test garden. One year I planted on the same calendar day. That year tulips emerged the following April 13th. Will these emerge 04/13/10?
