We planted our tulips in dirt in a field surrounded by a bunch of trees. It was in a shallow ditch that didn't have a lot of weeds by the milkweed. The soil was soft and sandy. It was a cool, cloudy, windy day. Two other 3rd grades planted their bulbs in a garden in garden soil from a landscape company on October 27th on a cold, sunny day.
