We still have one lone little hummer feeding daily. I'm beginning to think he may spend the winter with us-for whatever reason. He buzzed me face to face, about 2 feet from my face last Saturday. He stayed there for what seemed like a long time, about 15-20 seconds. The little bird actually made eye contact with me! I don't speak Hummer,(HA) but I told him I would continue to feed him through the winter if he needed to stay. He zipped away after I said that! I saw him just this morning in all the rain, feeding.
