Students in grades K through 3 planted their tulips in the school yard southwest of the building. Students in grades 4 through 6 planted their tulips in the school garden to the east of the building. The ground was moist after a rainy period and was supplimented with compost and mulch to loosen the clay type soil. During the days after the planting, the weather turned cold and we had two days of snow.
