Weather was overcast, low 60s and dropping, with wind. Time:4:00 - 5:00 pm
Dozens of monarchs getting nectar on Groundseltree, Eastern Baccharis, in bloom along dunes at Folly Beach, SC. Roosting observed beginning at 5 pm. Sighted small clusters (fifteen or less). Several mating pairs. My observation time: I was watching for _1__ hours and _20__ minutes.

Editor’s Note: We are estimating a minimum of 24 monarchs based on observer’s comment about “dozens of monarchs.”
