We finally planted our tulip bulbs today! It has been a rainy October and we had to wait for a nice day. Today was a chilly cloudy autumn day in New England. We could smell some wood smoke from wood burning stoves. Our trees have changed colors and half of the leaves have already fallen off. We each wrote our names on a craft stick so we could report on our own plant. We decided to plant them around the flagpole in our school's front yard. The earth was moist and still easy to dig in. No frost yet.
