Tulips PLANTED

Date: 11/09/2009

Number: 1

It was a pretty warm fall day, about 65 degrees Fahrenheit when we planted our Red Emperor Tulip bulbs at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. Tomorrow is also supposed to be a nice day, in the 60s. We didn't use any bone meal, but instead just planted the bulbs directly into the ground. There were many earthworms and grubs seen in the soil. We didn't have water so we didn't water them immediately. They will be watered tomorrow.
