Three classes of third grade students of Delaware Community School planted Red Emperor tulips in the wonderful Community Garden across from their school. The planting of tulips was part of the new Albany Roots: A Heritage Garden Program supported by a grant from Key Foundation and tulips provided by the City of Albany. The school has an active Garden Club lead by teacher Susan Fowler and several students who planted the tulips were experienced gardeners thanks to Ms. Fowler.
