The second grade class at Ashland City Elementary planted 50 Red Emperior tulips in their two raised gardens and another garden beside them that is not raised. They also planted 30 yellow dafodils and a 50 candy cane mixture of tulip bulbs that blooms in mid spring to see how long our gardens can bloom during the sping season. In the last five years, they have planted many early, mid, and late tulips that have come back every year. Hopefully they will come up this year too. The garden should be outstandingly beautiful to bring in the spring season!
