We planted our 72 tulip bulbs on a sunny, 60 degree weather day. The children were eager to put their "babies" into the ground and make predictions of when we would see them again. A few days later we planted our "Odd Ball" garden. We planted bulbs at different depths and widths, with tunic peeled, cut in half, soaked in oil, drawn on with permanent marker, taped, wrapped in paper, or damaged. We then made predictions as to which bulbs would survive and what the bulbs needed to be successful.
