Today Mrs. Maybury and Mrs. Moore's students planted 12 red emperor tulip bulbs during their science lab. It is a cloudy, windy day, but not too cold. The temperature is 52 degrees F. The ground was a bit hard, but we did get the bulbs planted and marked the space with a craft stick. A couple of groups found worms, but we put them back gently. We are glad we got them in today. There is supposed to be a big northeaster coming tonight and tomorrow. Other classes will plant more bulbs next week.
