I was out of town yesterday and had forgotten all about the rufous hummingbird who appears to be sticking around much later in the season than usual (unlike the Anna's who now stay all winter long).

It also explains why the Anna's are avoiding the backyard while crowding the front yard. The little meanie chases them off.
