on 10/19/09 i had only 4-6 hummers feeding after having around 30 feeding for a few weeks.i refilled 5 feeders which i had been refilling twice a day but by the end of the week i didn't see any more birds.during the height of their visit i did find one hummer dead in the yard. officially i noted no birds 10/26/09 which was after 2-3 days of very cool, wet weather.i sure hope they remember my porch in the spring!!!!
