Today we planted our tulip bulbs. Our garden is in full sun in a fenced-in area. The hole was seven inches deep and we placed hay and wire on top of the garden. The bulb was planted root side down. A test bulb was planted root side up to see if it would grow. Six students said it would NOT grow and 13 students said it would grow even if planted upside down.
